Systemnet Hospitality, a division of Systemnet Pty Ltd, was established to service the needs of the hospitality industry in the Asia Pacific region. After 11 years of working in this segment we understand that hotels and restaurants have unique IT infrastructure and requirements. Our hospitality clients include the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Warwick Hotel Group, Holiday Inn Express, Radisson Hotels & Resorts, and Redcape Hotel Group.


The Team

david David Kotze leads the hospitality division at Systemnet. David is an industry veteran who has held a variety of management positions with Holiday Inn, Sheraton and Radisson hotels in five countries. Prior to joining Systemnet, David was Director, Information Technology, Asia Pacific at the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s regional headquarters in Singapore.

Utilising his extensive pre-opening experience, project management skills and thorough knowledge and understanding of hotel systems integration, David has been directly involved in more than 50 four and five star hotel openings in Australia and the Asia Pacific region over the past 18 years.



Johann_2Johann Mentz
 has been heading up the Technical Division at Systemnet for the past 12 years. Johann and his team of 11 dedicated system engineers have been providing highly successful IT solutions to a broad customer base spanning a variety of industries. Johann is an experienced systems architect with in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, server platforms, messaging and security. Johann’s team includes specialists in disaster recovery and backup, server and desktop virtualisation, cloud technologies and voice communications.

Johann has a proven track record of helping organisations utilise the available technologies to their advantage whilst always adhering to best practice standards, in turn lowering the TCO (total cost of ownership) of the organisation’s IT infrastructure.

Payment card industry data security standard (Pci-dss) compliance

paymentPayment Card Industry compliance is a best practice and requirement for merchants processing credit cards. It is a set of standards developed by the founding members: American Express, Discover, JCB, Visa and MasterCard, and is designed to minimise credit card fraud and theft of guest credit card data. A breach of your Property Management System (PMS) or Point of Sale (POS) system and consequent theft of credit card data could result in substantial fines and possibly termination of your credit card merchant agreement. With our industry experience in this area Systemnet Hospitality can assist you with your remediation efforts to achieve compliance and prepare for an external PCI audit* by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
